New Vimanet web site is live!

Vimanet launched new web site today. We decided to change the graphic design and improve site content and usability. We would like our site to be an example of well designed and implemented company portal.
In the future we will add more features that will demonstrate different web technologies and their usage. We already take advantage of simple mashup with Google maps to show location our office locations. You can also see AJAX commonly used throughout the entire site. More features will come…

New project for Art Access & Research Ltd.

Vimanet was selected as a strategic technology partner for Art Access & Research Ltd. The aims and goals of the first project is to build online, advanced art databases containing both technical, historical and provenance information. The database will be the most advanced tool for art research and the only independent project that can offer Museums all over the world access to all information in one base with every x-references possible.
The solution is based on the EPiServer platform one of Sweden’s leading Web Content Management-systems. Specially designed user interfaces were created to fulfill the editor’s usability and accessibility demands.
In the future it will be extended with topic maps technology to facilitate the information find ability and improve user experience.

Vimanet joins the elite group of EPiServer solution partner. We believe that this alliance will bring more value to our customers. We had previous experience with EPiServer and found it one of the best web CMS systems available on the market. It’s easy and fast to implement and very friendly to web content editors.
We already started first EPiServer 5.0 implementation for Art Access & Research Ltd. Site will be live by the year end.
35 000 hits on Warhol vs Banksy in one month

I was very happy when I saw statistics for
www.warholvsbanksy.com site. In just a month after publishing it received over
35 000 hits from
105 countries and 30 000 unique visitors. Aside from page hits, exhibition had around 15 000 actual visitors and a load of press coverage.
All statistics are provided by Google analytics. It is truly a great tool and comes free of charge.

www.warholvsbanksy.com). This small but very exciting web site developed for
Pollock Fine Art and
The Hospital advertises first ever exhibition of works by Banksy and Andy Warhol.
We implemented Google Analytics in order to trace the site traffic. We will keep you informed about statistics generated.
Kentico partnership

We came to the stage when we decided to make our own web site. As we implement CMS systems then we had no other choice then use web CMS to build our company web site. We used CMS not only to demonstrate that we can deliver CMS implementation but to shorten delivery time and simplify maintenance.
We have been looking for an inexpensive, flexible, easy-in-use and powerful .Net based web CMS. We came across Kentico and after some tests we liked it a lot. Decision was simple: we will implement our company web site using
Kentico. Shortly after we launched our web site we decided to enroll
Kentico’s partnership alliance.
Now we not only save our time but we can save yours as well!
